ENJOY IL WEB ICON SYSTEM

For this project, our team was tasked with creating a customized icon system for the Enjoy Illinois Tourism Campaign website. We created these icons built from a previous style preference, and expanded the system into over 100 different icons. Many of these icons contain references to locations and events that feel unique to Illinois. I tried to create a inviting, friendly and a bit playful nature to the system, while maintaining a mono line weight system.
This illustration system was liked by the client, so we ended up expanding it into our regional design explorations. We liked the idea of creating badges for each of these prospective regions of Illinois to show consumers how the state is so varied. We presented these as prospective ideas for how they could implement their branding further.
